My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ!
The writer of Psalm 133 is certainly on target when he declares how very good and pleasant it is when brothers and sisters live together in unity.
United by the Holy Spirit in our love, fellowship and work, we can show forth the Power of our God in the community.
In that Spirit of family solidarity, and on behalf of our Dean who is on a short break, we welcome back to fellowship and worship our Organist and Choir as well as all members of the congregation who have been away on summer break.
Currently, as parents and students fine-tune their preparations for the New School Year, we ask God’s generous provision of all things needed by them.
Congratulations to those among us moving on to new Schools, Colleges and University. May God create in you wisdom, knowledge and understanding, and equip you with a disciplined mind for the work.
For all of us in this Cathedral Parish, the celebration of our Patronal Festival, Wednesday, September 25th to Wednesday, October 2nd, 2019, our full participation in this celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 8:00 A.M. On Sunday, September 29th, 2019 – the feast day of St. Michael and All Angels – followed by a Fellowship Breakfast in the courtyard of the Central Bank and our attendance at the Grand Festival Concert at 6.00 P.M. on that same day are events which demand, and can build our sense of unity, in love, fellowship and service.
Please put these matters in prayer to the Lord during this month.
Yours sincerely
Canon Knight
